Independent planning consultancy DPP has been shortlisted for the award ‘Consultancy of the Year’ at the prestigious annual Wales Business Insider Property Awards for the second year in a row.
The Wales Business Insider Property Awards recognises the contribution the property and construction community plays in Wales and sets out to acknowledge excellence in all fields of the industry.
Gareth Hooper, an associate partner at Cardiff planning consultancy DPP said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted again for this award. The ‘Consultancy of the Year’ category is always hotly contested by planning, costs, engineering, structural and environmental consulting firms. This award would be recognition not for just one project, but for all of that hard work from the team over the past year.”
Between April 2009 and March 2010, the Cardiff office of DPP has secured planning permission for 690,000 sq. ft. of new floorspace, creating more than 3,300 new jobs and securing in excess of £83million of investment in construction projects.
The awards are held on 16 June 2010 at the Mercure Holland House Hotel in Cardiff.
