Breakfast Seminar: What Can we Expect Under The New Government?

Wednesday 19 May 2010.

Author: Pippa Deeble-Rogers

All the main political parties have set out their aims for Planning and the Built Environment in their manifestos and with what looks like being the tightest General Election since the early 1970’s we could be faced on May 7th with the three largest parties scrabbling around amongst themselves and with the minor parties in an effort to form a Government.

Join DPP to digest the results of the General Election and what they mean for Planning and the Built Environment. Who will come out on top? What if any Manifesto promises will actually survive the realities of Government and the possible ‘hung’ parliament? What changes in approach will developers need to embrace in the age of ‘localism’ or ‘open source’ government.
