NLA Conference - Historic Buildings in the Modern City

Emma Adams, Head of Heritage and Design at DPP will be speaking at the NLA's half-day conference examining historic buildings in the modern city. The conference will look in depth into the challenges and opportunities for conserving London’s heritage assets and ensuring their long-term economic viability in the modern city.
How do we argue the case for the economic viability of our heritage assets? How can we find viable uses for underused civic heritage buildings? What are the technical challenges of ensuring London’s historic buildings meet the requirements of the modern city? And what will central government policy and funding mean for London’s heritage assets?
Emma Adams, Head of Heritage and Design, DPP London, will be one of the speakers at the conference.
