This iconic grade I listed building, with exuberant interiors designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, is located in the heart of the Bank Conservation Area in the City of London. DPP Heritage worked in close liaison with the project architects and planning consultants to progress a detailed application for listed building consent to convert the building to luxury hotel use.

Our involvement included extensive survey and assessment of the building’s special interest and advice on appropriate alteration and extension of the listed building. We led discussions and negotiations with English Heritage and the local planning authority officer.

Listed building consent and planning permission were granted for attention and extension and change of use.
