DPP Heritage advise on and assess the special historical and archaeological interest of ancient monuments and their settings, the need for consent for works and the preparation of the necessary applications, including liaison with English Heritage, County Archaeologists and other statutory authorities.

We consult sites and monuments records and other archaeological archive sources to inform the archaeological context of sites and areas to inform development and design decisions and strategies.
