World heritage sites

World Heritage Sites attract enormous local and national attention and we are experienced in the promotion of proposals affecting them. We know how to asses and advise on their 'outstanding universal interest' and how change is best managed in such an important context.

The use of management plans and view frameworks is now best practice in managing change in and around World Heritage Sites and have to be considered by anyone promoting development in and around them. Environmental impact assessment is often required with associated cultural heritage chapters. We can do baseline assessments, define the significance of assets and assess the impact and effects of proposals.
